Mount Batur is also one of the Global Geopark Network in south east Asia. Its located at the centre of two concentric calderas. The south east side of the larger 10×13 km caldera contains a caldera lake and the inner 75 km caldera.
The most recent eruption was in 2000, highest point is 1,717 m above sea level (5,664 ft) and can be summited by hikers in around 2 hours. The temperature on peak in the night around 18 – 20 degrees.

We will get in ahead of schedule morning around 01.30 am – 02.30 am. Early rise but the vista and beautiful sunrise is worth it.
ITINERARY:
- 01.30 am – 02.30 am is hotel pick up time ( depend hotel location).
- 03.00 am – 04.00 am arrive at starting point.
- 05.30 am – 06 00 am arrival at summit (having breakfast while waiting for sunrise 🌄)
- 09.00 am arrive back at starting point.
- 11.00 – 12 am arrive back to hotel.
